Hostel Tikka - Rovaniemi

We had a great stay at Tikka! the location was perfect, just a 15-minute walk to Santa's Village. the airport was also conveniently close, with a taxi costing around 13€. the bus stop right next to the hostel made it easy to get to the town center, with a bus fare of 3,50€. the place was clean and new, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. It felt cozy and homely, and we enjoyed meeting other guests in the kitchen. Cons: None 😊.

Great location and value for money. The hostel is conveniently located near a supermarket and public transportation. The rooms arenice and neat. The kitchen is well-equipped, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. The toilets and showers are clean and well-maintained.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The location was perfect for us as it was close to both the airport and Santa Claus Village, our main destinations. It only took us around 15 minutes to walk to the village and a taxi to the airport was around 13€. there was a bus stop nearby that provided easy access to the town for just 3,50€ or a taxi ride for around 18€. We also appreciated having a supermarket right behind the hostel, making it convenient to buy food and other essentials. The hostel itself was very clean and had a modern feel to it. The kitchen was well-equipped, great for us as we wanted to cook our own meals. The toilets and showers were also clean and well-maintained, a big plus for us.

The rooms at Hostel Tikka are cozy and comfortable, perfect for a budget traveler like me. I loved the shared bathroom, and having a hairdryer and bed linen provided made my stay hassle-free. The air conditioning in all rooms was a bonus, especially during hot summer days. Plus, the towels in every room were a nice touch!

Personally, I would have liked if some of the rooms had a patio. But hey, that's just my preference, and others might not mind at all.

It was so convenient to have everything I needed within close proximity. the room itself was spacious and had a cozy atmosphere, thanks to the warm heaters provided. the staff were also very helpful and responsive, always addressing any questions or concerns promptly. it was a pleasant stay with all the necessary facilities available at an affordable price.

The shared kitchen was quite small and often crowded, making it difficult to cook or prepare meals at times.

my recent stay near Rovaniemi was incredible, especially at this cozy hostel. Tikka exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness, spacious kitchen, warm heaters, and proximity to the supermarket and bus stop. Highly recommend for a home away from home experience.

Great location and value for money. I had a blast hiking, skiing, and cycling in the area. And who needs a shoe rack anyway? Walking around with dirty boots is so fashionable, don't you think?
